Previously I shared about the feathers at the hotel on Thanksgiving and the feathers at the Baptist Church a couple of weeks ago. I wrote these stories Sunday night before I laid it down for the night. I was glad I got to share them with everyone. Now check this out.
I get up the next morning at 3:00 a.m. as usual, get dressed, grab my gear, and head to the gym. I had a real good work-out, all pumped up. When I finished I got dressed for work and I was on my way. It was the first day back and the beginning of a new year. Everything went real well. Everyone seemed to get back in the mode rather easily, which is a good thing. That means I don’t have to yell at them:) Just kidding!
The end of the work day came quickly. Now I’m on my way to the apartment to do a couple of hours there. When I finished I was walking down the stairs to my car. It was already dark outside. As I was walking down the stairs it was like everything came to a stand still, almost slow-motion like if you will. I was experiencing an awe moment, the presence of something majestic. Suddenly I got warm all over and the goose bumps set in. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, yet it was familiar. As I opened my car door something told me to look down, as I did I discovered white feather lying on my floor mat. All I could do is smile and look up. Then I said thank you Lord, thank you.
It’s pretty wild, that’s three times since Thanksgiving day. I wonder what the exact message is. I have several different ideas, yet I’m not 100%. I guess it really doesn’t matter, I know in my heart it’s good. It is truly encouraging to me and I hope to you as well. As I said before, Romans 8:28-And God causes all things to work together for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Be blessed my friends and know that you are not alone:)
