How often do we get caught up in this scenario? I know I do my best not to judge anyone because our God has no prejudice towards anyone he created. That’s the beauty of it. There have been times in my life that I have been accused by the adversary of judging an individual. However, that was before I ever met Jesus and I probably wasn’t the nicest person to be around.
Let’s go to the gospel of Luke. Starting in Luke 6:37 which says; Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Give this one moment of thought if you will. When it rains, doesn’t it rain on the just and the unjust the same? Wow! Yes it does. How arrogant for an individual to think he/she is better than any other when truth be told God created us all equally. Some people truly amaze me with their worldly wisdom and I’m better than you attitudes.
Luke 6:38 which is one of my favorite scriptures says; Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full-pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. How wonderful is that? I encourage all to give freely without I expect something in return motivation. It can get really crazy in situations like this. I’ve had individuals do things or give me things without me asking for them. Actually I even asked them not to do it. Well, even though I said those things it didn’t change.
It’s the classic situation that I encourage you all to steer clear of. When they didn’t get what they wanted I heard things like you’re no good, everything about you isn’t real, and after all I did for you. Then I’m like seriously, I asked you not to do those things but you went ahead and did them. Wrong answer!
So please do not judge one another and always give freely, see what happens. God bless you all and would you please pray for me. Thank you Lord.
