This is the greatest feeling ever my friends. The blood of Jesus and knowing what it did for you and I. Some get it and so many don’t have a clue. I don’t know about you but my heart aches for them in a way I can not even explain. I say this because I look back at myself before I ever knew the Lord and right there I see one. All I can say about that is thank you Lord for not giving up on me. Since that day the Lord has placed it on my heart by the power of the Holy Spirit to reveal Him to all who come near me. That is my mission and I love it.
I mean think about it, men and women all over the world utter the word Jesus, God, or even Holy Spirit yet they do not know Him. They say they believe in Him, however, they tend to put their own spin on what they believe and to what extent they believe. In other words, they sugar coat the truth to suit themselves knowing deep down in their heart that they are wrong because truth resonates in the human heart.
God created us in His image and he gave us everything that he is. He is all divine and he is all that is revealed in His word. He instilled His word into our hearts from the very beginning and that’s why it hits home so true when we hear His word. Romans 1:18-23 says; But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.
The scripture goes on to say; Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. This is an example of how people will put their own spin on things to fit their own belief. The result was that their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes.
There are so many lost people in this world who truly believe that they know better than God, that they are smarter than God, and that they are wiser than God. Oh how I feel for them. One day every knee shall bow, every knee my friends, there are no exceptions, and every tongue shall confess to the one true living God. What a wonderful day that will be, it will be like the days of Noah.
Thank God for His unconditional love, for giving us the opportunity of salvation. Jesus hung on the cross for you and I, He paid a debt He did not owe, and we owed a debt we could not pay. Thank you Jesus, the greatest gift for all humanity, the perfect sacrifice that you and I by choice may receive the free gift of life eternal with our Father in heaven.
Revelation 12:11 says; “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Hallelujah! Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, for he lives in us and through us. We have been redeemed because of this great act of love, there is nothing that can compare. We have been cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. Everything has been settled by the blood of Jesus, if God is for us, who can be against us. Praise God!
We have the VICTORY my friends, proclaim it and share it now! This reminds me of how truly blessed we are each and every day. I use to listen to a song with a dear friend of mine while trying to learn it for ministry purposes, praise and worship if you will. The name of the song is 10,000 reasons by Matt Redman. It starts out, Bless the Lord oh my soul, oooooh my soul, worship His holy name, sing like never before oh my soul, I will worship your holy name.
During that time I would ask myself why am I the one learning this song:) When I would hear my friend sing these words it would take me to a place of such comfort and serenity, it’s like I would just melt away:) I have never experienced anything like this and haven’t since. I pray to hear that again one day, there is nothing to great for our God.
