What is love? This is a question that comes to my heart often, why? Because God has given it to me instinctively therefore I can not deny it. To be quite honest I wish I could go a day without thinking of this subject because of the pain it stirs up. For some reason he pulls at our heart-strings when he sees us trying to dance around the matter at hand. He wants us to stand firm and realize that it’s only a minute portion of the big picture that encompasses our lives.

I know by experience that love can make or break a person. With that being said, I really don’t know how I continue to do what I do in this life. Suddenly, a small still voice whispers in my ear with such tenderness and compassion saying I love you Michael, “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10. NLT. I can’t help but smile when I hear that in my heart, it comes at the perfect time. There is nothing greater than the love of God my friends, he will never fail us nor forsake us as other people tend to do in our lives. To many people in this world the human heart has zero value, they convey the message that other people are simply disposable at their heart’s desire. How could they think or feel this way about other human beings? In a nutshell, it’s called free will and people exercise it everyday right or wrong.

Regardless of our circumstances, we must overcome by the supernatural power of God. We can’t do it on our own. Yet, many people think they can when in all actuality they just slip on another mask before they venture out in the world. They really think they can do it on their own, they are only fooling themselves with pride.  God will turn our tears of sadness into tears of gladness if we would only rely on his great love because there is no other love greater or satisfying to the human heart. It’s known as Agape love, the greatest love known to humanity. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, and in the center of that freedom is our wonderful Savior Jesus Christ.

When we keep our eyes on Jesus we can walk on water just as he did. Faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains that include; bitterness, resentment, anger, and even a heart that has been destroyed beyond recognition. There is nothing to great for God, we can not limit God in our lives. When we do we are not trusting in his great love for us, we are limiting his love for our lives. Let’s manifest these words right now and speak them to God, “It’s a new season, let us experience your great love God”.

1 Corinthians 13:13 says; There are three things that will endure; faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love. There we have it, he’s telling us that if we would only allow his love to reign in our lives we to can experience true freedom here on this earth. Hallelujah!

God will take our bad experiences and turn them into wonderful experiences if we allow him to do so. I encourage all to do this, you will be blessed above and beyond what you could ever possibly imagine for his ways are higher than our ways and his love is much greater than our love. Have a wonderful day my friends! God bless you.

Youth leader,

About spiritministries

I am a man who has learned not to rely on my own understanding the hard way. God revealed himself to me two and a half years before I got out of prison. It's the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. There is truly only one way and that is to have a relationship with God. Since my release S.P.I.R.I.T Ministries has came to fruition. We meet every Wednesday night at 7p.m. God asked me to write a book, in 18 months I finished Rock Bottom; Inspired by God, He provided me with a web blog, thank you Andrew, as you can see, I am a motivational-inspirational speaker, and singer. We now have a band known as The Un-Scene, you can find the link on my web site and check it out on face book. I am just a man who was given true life while in prison, freedom, salvation, and unspeakable joy by the grace of God. We go many places to speak and sing for the glory of God. I just want to share what God has done in my life that you may have the opportunity to experience the same joy He gave me. I give God all the glory for everything in my life for I couldn't accomplish anything a part from Him. If ye shall know the truth, the truth shall set you free, John 8:32. If you would like to hear us just contact me and God willing we will remain obedient. God bless you all.

Wow, I love this post. God’s love is something I think about all of the time. It is so difficult to imagine the depths of His love for us, especially when we feel undeserving or face the harshness of this world. I am truly sorry for whatever pain you have had in your life, but I am also joyful for you that you have God by your side.

    • Well thank you my friend, I think about his love all the time as well. It is difficult to imagine, I can only imagine:) Surrounded by his glory, what will my heart feel, will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still, will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall, will I sing hallelujah! This is my place with the Lord, this is where he has me:) Maybe one day we can share the pain. I am joyful as well Mandy, bless you!

    • How are you this day my friend?
