Isaiah

It has been quite some time since I have written a post my friends. I have been real busy lately with work and with my ministry. The good Lord continues to put me in awe as he does great and mighty things in my life. I must say that I am embracing what he is doing with all my heart, soul, and strength.

Recently I have been speaking at many different places. The doors have been opening up left and right which is a good thing. I give all the glory to God:) I am truly a Romans 8:28 kind of guy. It says; And God causes all things to work together for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. He gives me all the strength I need in my weaknesses.

I must say I have been rather busy lately, more than usual. Anyway, just when I feel like I am physically and mentally exhausted the Lord intervenes. Today was one of those days. I gave the message on faith last night at an evening service. I was truly blessed and had great feed-back. I opened up with the song “Worthy”, and applied it to the message. What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen, it is the evidence of things not yet seen. Hebrews 11:1. NLT.

Today, mid afternoon I began to feel a little tired. After the service last night I went to dinner with four friends so I didn’t get home until after 11:00 p.m. While I was sitting in the office I began to pray, I said Lord I sure could use some inspiration, some encouragement, and some energy if you would please. Our God is truly amazing because only seconds after I breathed these words to the One True Living God my phone went off.

I picked it up and pushed the button, it was a text message from one of the ladies I went to dinner with the night before. It was from the book of Isaiah. It is actually one of my favorite Scriptures in the word of God. It was Isaiah 40: 30-31 which says; Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Hallelujah!

God answers prayer in His own perfect time, and I can tell you that was the perfect time because I truly needed that:) I was tired and now I’m sitt

About spiritministries

I am a man who has learned not to rely on my own understanding the hard way. God revealed himself to me two and a half years before I got out of prison. It's the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. There is truly only one way and that is to have a relationship with God. Since my release S.P.I.R.I.T Ministries has came to fruition. We meet every Wednesday night at 7p.m. God asked me to write a book, in 18 months I finished Rock Bottom; Inspired by God, He provided me with a web blog, thank you Andrew, as you can see, I am a motivational-inspirational speaker, and singer. We now have a band known as The Un-Scene, you can find the link on my web site and check it out on face book. I am just a man who was given true life while in prison, freedom, salvation, and unspeakable joy by the grace of God. We go many places to speak and sing for the glory of God. I just want to share what God has done in my life that you may have the opportunity to experience the same joy He gave me. I give God all the glory for everything in my life for I couldn't accomplish anything a part from Him. If ye shall know the truth, the truth shall set you free, John 8:32. If you would like to hear us just contact me and God willing we will remain obedient. God bless you all.

I love the words of Isaiah, who is so often missed as he can be difficult to understand.
