Good morning friends. I have been inspired once again by the power of the Holy Spirit. I love moments like this. It is truly amazing how God answers prayer and you know without any doubt that it is your prayer being answered. The Lord has blessed me with a great connection of heart, I have never experienced anything like this before. How true it is that the Lord knows what you need before you do.
Before I begin to share what the Lord has given me, I would like to say Merry Christmas to all who drink from the fount. I thank God and I thank everyone who supports this ministry for I give God all glory, honor, and praise. His grace is sufficient for all regardless one’s circumstances. Hallelujah!
What is the message in Passionate Praise? Hebrews reveals that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God never changes. The birth of our Savior Jesus Christ should stir Passionate Praise in our hearts. We as children of God need to rekindle the fire that began over 2,000 years ago.
Allow me to share from Matthew 2:1-12. Now after Jesus born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet:
‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler who will shepherd My people Israel.'”
Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also. When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.
This is the Word of God my friends. Take a moment if you would pondering on the word given, and think about how the wise men actually went to bat for you over 2,000 years ago without even knowing it, and only because of the passion that resided in their hearts for the new-born King, Jesus Christ.
Honestly we should be excited about this my friends. The wise men eagerly journeyed to Bethlehem to give a royal welcome to the great new ruler of the world. They packed gold, frankincense, and myrrh so they could join in the heavenly worship of the infant king. They formed an important part of the celebration that surrounded Jesus’ birth. In fact, they represented you in God’s great plan. They portrayed the countless star-gazers who set out in search of a king and find the Son of the living God.
Through our own seeking and serving, we become part of the heavenly symphony that gives passionate praise to the Savior. Allow your heart, to burst into song at the thought of Him. Permit the tune of your being to swell with the joy of who He is. Just like the wise men, you have joined the great multitude in never-ending worship. Seek Him and sing, for surely He is worthy. Our worship should be of Passionate Praise!
God gave me a great revelation while studying Matthew 2. The revelation was when the wise men found the Savior at two years of age they worshiped him regardless of his age. This is something we all should keep close to our heart when it comes to age, Jesus Christ being the greatest example. When God is in the midst, age simply doesn’t matter, He is final authority in all things.
God bless you all and Merry Christmas.
