I proclaim that God has a great plan for my life and for your life as well. He is directing our steps, and sometimes we may not understand how, but I know our situation is no surprise to God. He will work out every detail to our advantage in His perfect timing. Everything will work out right for us, we need to proclaim this in our lives every day.
Romans 8:28 says; And God causes all things to work together for the good, for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose… This is a truth we must trust in every day of our lives. It is wonderful to know that when things are going the way they are going our loving God is right there with us working out every little detail for the good.
Furthermore, the Scripture talks about how all of our days have been written in God’s book. He’s already recorded every part of your life from the beginning to the end. Trust and believe that God knows every disappointment, every loss, and every challenge in our lives. The good news is that our story ends in VICTORY. Our final chapter in life concludes with us fulfilling our God-given destiny.
Here’s the key my friends. When going through disappointment, when going through loss, or when going through a tsunami don’t stop on that page. Dig down deep and keep moving forward. Why? Because there is another chapter in front of you, however you must be willing to exercise your faith, take action, and walk into it.
You know as well as I do that we sometimes focus too long on trying to figure out why something didn’t work out the way we wanted, maybe why our marriage didn’t last, or why we weren’t given a position we worked hard for. We may not understand everything we’ve been through, but if we just keep pressing forward, not letting the bitterness take root we will come to a chapter in our future that will pull it all together. Meaning a chapter that will CAUSE it to make sense.
Allow me to share this story I read the other day by Joel Osteen a great man of God.
Out daughter Alexandra loved to put together puzzles when she was a little girl. Every couple of weeks we bought her a new puzzle to work on with her. Sometimes it would take us two or three days. Invariably, we would find a piece of that puzzle that didn’t look like it fit anywhere. After trying every option we could think of, placing the piece here and there without finding a fit, I’d usually come to the conclusion that the manufacturer must have messed up. Maybe they’d included an extra piece by mistake or dropped in a piece from a different puzzle.
Every time that happened, though, we’d discover as the puzzle came closer to being finished that there was a perfect place for that “extra” piece. What was the problem earlier? All the other pieces weren’t together yet.
The same might be true for you and your life. You may have issues or challenges that you don’t understand. Your wondering, “Joel, if God is so good, why did my life turn out like this? Why didn’t I get that promotion? It just doesn’t seem to make sense.”
Yes, that’s true on its own, but it’s because you have pieces to your puzzle that have not yet come together. If you will say in faith, before long you will see how every setback, every disappointment, even a loss, was simply another piece of your puzzle. You may also discover that if this issue or challenge had not happened yo would not have become connected to the great things God had in your future.
You may not see yet, but God has the right pieces to make your puzzle fit together. That puzzle may not make sense right now, but don’t be discouraged-there’s another piece coming that will put it all together.
I read this and I said to myself, “This is a piece to my puzzle, because I read this I now have a greater understanding on how God causes all things to work together for the good.” Great story Joel, thanks for sharing. I hope this brings an understanding to many more as well. Have a wonderful day.
