As we wander through this world we eventually come to a cross-road in our journey. A time of deep thought, contemplation, and revelation. It’s like the most amazing thing, suddenly we realize that there is something greater than ourselves. We acknowledge a higher power, we are introduced to the Godhead, (the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son of God Jesus Christ).

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior our life is so blessed. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 says; Therefore, if any person is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! The old; meaning previous moral and spiritual condition. Thank you Lord, we are a new creation in Christ for He is alive.

Because the old moral and spiritual condition have passed we have the opportunity to be a blessing everywhere we go because Jesus lives in us and His life overflows abundantly within us. It’s like a breath of fresh air. Not only that, we can like ourselves because of what Jesus has done in our lives.

According to the Scripture above He has completely recreated us to live out His great plan. The old us has died with Christ, Jesus. Now spiritually we are alive in Christ, a new creature afresh, filled with endless opportunities and possibilities. As we learn God’s Word, He will use it to change us into His image. Actually, the new us that is inside will make its way to the outside where others can see Jesus living within.

God says that we are valuable, so we should not determine our worth and value by the way other people have treated us, or what they have said about us. God says we are accepted in Christ, and what He says is more important than what anyone else could possibly say to you. God is final authority in our lives, we should do our best to live for Him and Him alone. May you have a blessed day and be a blessing to others around you for the sake of Jesus Christ.

Youth leader,

About spiritministries

I am a man who has learned not to rely on my own understanding the hard way. God revealed himself to me two and a half years before I got out of prison. It's the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. There is truly only one way and that is to have a relationship with God. Since my release S.P.I.R.I.T Ministries has came to fruition. We meet every Wednesday night at 7p.m. God asked me to write a book, in 18 months I finished Rock Bottom; Inspired by God, He provided me with a web blog, thank you Andrew, as you can see, I am a motivational-inspirational speaker, and singer. We now have a band known as The Un-Scene, you can find the link on my web site and check it out on face book. I am just a man who was given true life while in prison, freedom, salvation, and unspeakable joy by the grace of God. We go many places to speak and sing for the glory of God. I just want to share what God has done in my life that you may have the opportunity to experience the same joy He gave me. I give God all the glory for everything in my life for I couldn't accomplish anything a part from Him. If ye shall know the truth, the truth shall set you free, John 8:32. If you would like to hear us just contact me and God willing we will remain obedient. God bless you all.
