Many Christians believe that when trouble enters their life God is punishing them. As a Christian believer we have to maintain a positive attitude, we must be happy as we face difficulties and temptations. Some may think this is not a natural reaction to a painful situation. I encourage you to see your trials as building blocks to God’s great plan in your life. Allow it to be an opportunity to change a negative attitude to confident assurance. You will see that we can have joy during the storm because it teaches us patience, and patience is necessary to be successful. This is faith and endurance.
James 1:2-8 says; Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.
If you need wisdom-if you want to know what God wants you to do-ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. They can’t make up their minds. They waver back and forth in everything they do. God bless the people who patiently endure testing.
So you must ask yourself this question, who or what is in control of your life? Is it God? Is it other people? I hope the answer is God because when you surrender and give Him the reigns He will show you great and mighty things. Things you could not accomplish apart from Him. How deep is your faith anchored in His love? Psalm 46:10 says; Be still and know that I am God.
I gave my life to God almost 6 year ago. He has performed many miracle in my life. I have seen Him constantly at work for His love never fails us. I have seen Him change so many people’s lives during this time, it is a true blessing to be directly involved when this happens. Just to see the smile on that individuals face when they step over the thresh-hold of Salvation, the GRACE of God is priceless.
To be humble in the presence of the Lord is what I long for. I am asking that you all pray for me. For God’s will, for a greater ability to love, and strength to get through the trial I am currently going through. You are all in my prayers. Have a wonderful day!
