Prayer life. What is it? Prayer is simply talking with God. We can come to him anytime and approach him anywhere. And we can pray about anything. God loves our honest, heartfelt prayers, and he cares deeply for the details of our lives. As we come before him with praise or petition, we demonstrate that we trust him and long to draw near to him.
Maybe your faith is relatively new and you’re not yet comfortable praying. This is why I encourage you to trust in the one true living God for He will never fail you nor forsake you. It’s no different from pouring your heart out to a good friend. That is God and that is how He works in our lives. God is no different from anything else in life. If you have a particular job that you perform everyday you become better and more efficient as the days go by because you seek the wisdom and knowledge to do that the best of your ability. God is the same, you must seek Him each and every day of your life. The more you seek, the greater your understanding becomes. We don’t have all the answers, but the only way you are going to find the answer is by asking, and that is all that is required by our Father in heaven. Simply ask and He will surely reveal an answer in the perfect time. What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen, it is the evidence of things not yet seen. Hebrews 11:1.
We are encouraged to walk by faith and not by sight. I takes time and a great deal of patience to gain this type of understanding with God. Spiritual growth is no different from physical growth. It takes time and we must get nourishment each and every day and that nourishment comes from The Living Word, the Holy Bible. One may say they want to grow in wisdom and understanding, however, one must be willing to open the book and explore the pages before him. They are there each and every day just as you are. Take it one step at a time and you will see great and mighty things in your life. Faith come by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. If you want a greater measure of faith, open the book and start the greatest journey that you will ever experience.
We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. Colossians 1:9-10. Have a wonderful day!
