I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God. 2 Corinthians 7:9. Devotion from Daily in Christ: Every Christian is faced with the choice of walking by the Spirit or by the flesh on a daily basis. The moment you choose to walk according to the flesh, the Holy Spirit brings conviction because what you have just chosen to do is not compatible with who you really are. If you continue in the flesh, you will feel the sorrow of conviction. Determine whether your feelings reflect thoughts of truth or error, and you will identify the source-the devil’s accusation or the Spirit’s conviction. If you feel guilty, worthless, stupid, or inept know that is an accusation and does not reflect the truth. But if you are sorrowful because your behavior doesn’t reflect your true identity in Christ, that’s the sorrow according to the will of God which is designed to produce repentance.
Truly very wise words coming from above. So it is important to realize that no matter who you are in Christ, things happen. And when they do know that you are just a man or woman and that Jesus loves just the same. God’s grace is sufficient for all who believe and when you feel like there is no explanation, God still loves you. That is something you must come to believe without doubt in your heart. We are born sinners and we fall, the good news is, we get back up again continuing the race. Keep on knocking, keep on asking and the one true living God will provide you with everything that you need at the perfect time. Trial equals strength, and that is a blessing for your character. Hallelujah! Have a wonderful day friends.
