I have noticed lately that the volume of views to my blog has decreased over the last couple of months. I am open to any kind of suggestions or ideas to help increase traffic to my blog. If anyone out there is willing to leave a reply, maybe something they would like for me to write about concerning: God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit, feel free to ask and I will to the best of my ability answer. Maybe someone out there has a question, whatever it may be feel free to ask.
Because of the tender mercy of God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death. Luke 1:78-79. Early morning on August 13, 2004 Hurricane Charley churned off the Gulf Coast just north of the Florida Keys. All predictions showed it making landfall over Tampa Bay in the late evening. Unexpectedly, the storm turned and made landfall hundreds of miles south at Port Charlotte, then turned toward our little inland town of Lake Wales. With mere hours to prepare, we secured our things before hiding in our bathrooms and closets.
It took, only 48 minutes for Charley to pass over our small town, with maximum winds topping 100 miles per hour. Then fear and uncertainty arose as night approached. Yet when dawn finally came, it revealed the truth-we’d survived!-and hope began to blossom in our community.
When Jesus came, He entered a world waiting for the dawn as well. People had lived in spiritual darkness for centuries, longing for light, not knowing its true source. The storm of sin had taken its toll, and the devastation was complete. Yet Jesus Christ, the light of the world, changed everything. Hallelujah! Have a wonderful day.
