We need to surround ourselves in prayer. Not only do we need to pray fervently, we need to pray fervently, we need to pray for one another, and we need to offer prayer to others in love. Paul is a great example of this. Romans 15:30 says; Now I beg you, brethren, that you strive together with me in prayers to God for me. He seemed to have desire to be surrounded by prayer. In most of his letters to churches, he requested to be remembered in prayer to the Lord. He knew that he could not be effective in his service for God without power. The Bible tells us that Jesus also prays for us; John 17:20; Hebrews 7:25, as does the Hole Spirit, whose prayers are according to the will of God; Romans 8:27. What comfort to be surrounded by prayer! Prayer prompted by the Holy Spirit is powerful. Have a wonderful DAY!
