In time of adversity, life can sometimes seem so bleak and dark that we may feel on the verge of giving up hope. Job is a perfect example of this. When you face difficult circumstances and then have to endure negative opinions and comments from others, you need the courage to stay positive-to continue to believe that the Lord is with you. Hope and faith are not automatic responses in times of hardship and trial; they require an exercise of the will, bolstered with courage. So the psalmist said, “Why are you cast down, O my soul, And why are you disquieted within me, Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” Psalm 42:5. Just tell your self that God will get me through this. Have a wonderful day!
