I don’t know about you, but when I know someone is praying for me helps me in my ministry. What peace, strength, joy, and victory I sense when I know God’s people are praying for me. Sometimes I feel like I’m just flying with the eagles, and I know that is because of the prayers of God’s people. Peter knew God’s children were bombarding heaven for him and that’s the reason he was asleep. He was also aware of God’s presence because he knew that the Bible says, “He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:3. Even though Peter was in a crisis, he was able to say, “Well, Lord, there’s no need for both of us to stay up all night. Good night. I’m going to sleep while you stay awake.” Isaiah 26:3-4 says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. Peter was an overcomer through his trust in God. Have a wonderful day!
