I have a friend who was on an airplane when the weather just became completely out of control. The lady next to him was whimpering, sobbing, and muttering under her breath out of fear. So my friend turned to her and tried to comfort her the best of his ability. She said, “Do you mean to tell me that you are not afraid?” And he replied. “Well, I have committed my life into the keeping of my heavenly Father. And I will have to be honest, I have reminded Him about the fact several times since we’ve been up here.” Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” So I say cast your burden upon the Lord, and leave it there. Don’t pick it back up. He is able. In fact, He is more than able. When times get rough, remind yourself that God will sustain you. Have a wonderful day, God bless you.
