As an individual, or as a congregation, where are you with your worship? I must let it be known that the Bible says we must fellowship. And in this fellowship we must be led and directed by the power of the Holy Spirit, our faith in Jesus Christ, and by the grace of God. God commands this of His children. I hope that you attend services because you have a relationship with God and you want to worship Him and Him alone. If you are attending a service as a social gathering without the Lord in front you are going for the wrong reason. Worship is not an act, it is a conviction in our heart. Conviction involves obedience to God’s commands, we must be a willing open vessel for our God has no prejudice. I encourage you not to put limits on God because if you do, you are missing out on the blessings he has in store for you. I can not stress obedience enough, it is imperative in every aspect of your life. When the Lord speaks, we must move, it’s that simple. We have no authority to question what God commands of us, and if you think you do, I pray that you truly surrender your life to God’s will because you haven’t understood the one way that leads to eternal life. Revelation 7:17 says, For the Lamb who stands in front of the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to the springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe away all their tears. Where is you confidence? Let the Lord move and keep your eyes upon Jesus. Have a wonderful day.
