Inspired by; God
Welcome back to Spirit Ministries ladies and gentleman. I remember the day the Lord put this newsletter on my heart. Honestly, I wasn’t sure I could handle the responsibility that comes with it. However, God knows before we do and I have been blessed by writing this. I thank God for all of you, and I thank each one of you for believing in me, for encouraging me, and being there for me. I know the Lord has performed a miracle in my life and I am truly blessed to see what he has done in some of your lives. All I can say to that is Hallelujah!
Before you had the Lord in your life you were living the best you knew how. I know I was living my own selfish-way, I was relying on my own understanding, I was fulfilling my own selfish-desires. All in all, I was a train wreck waiting to happen simply because of my pride and the inability to admit that I was wrong. I thank God each and everyday for the revelation he gave me about his Son Jesus Christ and what he could do if I would only reach out and take him by the hand. The day I did that I know the angels in heaven were truly rejoicing because I was what my boss refers to as a bucket head.
It’s all about faith friends. The greatest act of faith anyone experiences is the day they receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Yes, that is the greatest act, and the first act of faith. However, it is imperative to know that it doesn’t stop their. First, let’s define faith. What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen, it is the evidence of things not yet seen. Hebrews 11:1. In other words, while we are praying we must believe without doubt that he hears us and that he is going to answer as long as it is in line with his will. Exercising your faith is more than exercising at the gym, we must exercise our faith everday to the best of our ability.
Jesus speaks about the greatest in the Kingdom. About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Which of us is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” Jesus called a small child over to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who trusts in me to lose faith, it would be better for that person to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck. Matthew 18:1-6.
As we grow older it is important to look back at our innocent years. We can draw courage and inspiration from those experiences. To be that humble as a grown man or woman, that is the power of the blood. When we humble ourselves as little children before the Lord, he will bless us exceedingly and abundantly beyond our wildest imagination. Things will begin to happen in your life that you thought were truly impossible. I’m here to tell you my friends that when you have God first in your life, nothing, I mean nothing is impossible. He will bring your dream to reality, it’s your choice, won’t you step out in faith and take the risk of your entire world being the way your heart desires? I encourage you to do this, I want you to experience the peace, the unspeakable joy, and God’s presence in your life. It’s like this, I can do all things with the help of Christ, who gives me the strength I need. Philippians 4:13. Lay your burdens down and let him sort through them, tell him your dream and let him build it, and enjoy the harvest of your humble act.
Father God, I thankyou for your Son Jesus Christ who shed his blood on the cross for all our sins, I come to you with a repentant heart and ask for forgiveness. Continue to shape and mold me to your likeness. Thankyou Lord. I pray that you continue to surround your warring angels among them, allow them a provision, shower them with your wonderful blessings, and shine your beautiful light upon them at all times. This includes all my Christian brothers and sisters, brothers in the prison, all my co-workers at Fashions Inc., Spirit Ministries Group, Community Foursquare Church, Family Worship Center in Wellsville, all my friends and all the children of the world. Lord I pray that you continue to lift up Spirit Minitries, continue to lead and direct me by your Holy Spirit, lift up my book Rock Bottom, my web site, and my singing and speaking. Lord I pray that you continue to inspire me, encourage me, motivate me, give me understanding and wisdom, give me patience and perserverence through the storm, and give me strength. I thankyou Lord for all things and all the blessings that you have bestowed upon me. I pray in the name of your wonderful Son Jesus Christ, Amen.
God bless you all
