Where does wisdom truly come from? True wisdom comes from the Word of God, the Holy Bible. My child, listen to me and treasure my instructions. Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight and understanding. Search for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure. Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of good sense to the godly. He is their shield, protecting those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of justice and protects those who are faithful to him. Proverbs 2:1-8.
I have had several people ask me where I gain the wisdom I have in my heart. I simply tell them from the Bible and listening to the Word of God. It’s like this, when we come before the Lord for the very first time not caring what is going on around us because we know that he is best for our lives we begin to truly seek. Why? Beacause of this yearning deep down inside of our heart, we all experience it, so when we become courageous we drink for the very first time and we become vulnerable. We see for the first time that he has something greater for our lives than what the world has to offer. This is a great day for everyone simply because you have realized the difference between love of the world and the love of God. Praise God!
The Word of God is like a seed and your heart is the soil. Most Christians want change in some area of their lives. They try and try to make those changes but soon find themselves falling back into the same habits and behaviors. Self-discipline and self-control have once again failed them.
So how does lasting change take place? A worm doesn’t struggle to bedome a butterfly in the cocoon. A seed doesn’t struggle to become a tree and produce fruit. They simply do what they were designed to do by God and the changes takes place, effortlessly.
Therefore, the Word of God is like a seed and your heart is the soil. When it’s planted and nurture in the soil of your heart, it begins to grow. The result is transformation; and the fruit becomes evident to all. If you want real change in your life, ask the Lord for his most powerful help. Andrew Wommack.
I hope and I pray that the Lord blesses you all this beautiful. Until next time, continue seeking and you will not be disappointed.
