I know at some point in life we all pray for a new beginning, maybe new beginnings. Why? Because we never truly know what is going to happen to us and it is this simple. God is in control of all things. I call it a chance to wipe the slate clean, an opportunity to move away from past hurts, or maybe a chance just to do something different in life. For me, a new beginning is sometimes threatening because it forces me to leave what I am use to, it takes me out of my comfort zone.
We should look at new beginnings through a clear lense like this. A new beginning is exciting, a-challenge to move away into new territory, or the exhileration of an unknown adventure. All in all the Lord is actually showing us that life is ultimately a series of a new beginning. We all know that change is inevitable; it’s how we handle it or deal with it that counts. I know in my life each day brings new challenges as well as problems.
We need to look at it as a new opportunity to get to know the Lord better, and to start over with a new attitude toward our circumstances and the people around us. I say this because the Lord renews his mercies for us every single day, I don’t have to be burdened by yesterday’s failures or regrets. Let’s ask the Lord to help us embrace the dawn of each new day as a chance to start again and to experience the refreshment of his tender mercies. Hallelujah!
Lamentations 3:23– Great is the faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
Wow! This has been an awesome week friends. I have been asked to come speak at a few other places. I ran into several old friends and had a wonderful time. God is good friends, that’s all I can say. May the Lord continue to bless all of you above, beyond, exceedingly, and abundantly.
I have finished my book. Hell yeah! Would you all please pray for me concerning what to do next. I am listening closely for his direction in all matters. I love it!
