When I set aside my gifts for God: Dear God, every year as I determine how I can give to you financially, I consider what I receive from giving. I have found out from life experiences that you get what you give multiplied when you give cheerfully from the heart. Not because you are commanded to give, but because you love to give.
It is truly the greatest feeling ever. I give cheerfully because you are my number one priority, and because all of the blessings you have bestowed upon me. It is an amazing experience when you give or receive in the perfect time. I love the mystery behind all of it and how you work. When I give cheerfully I never know who that gift is going to benefit or how it is going to impact their life. It may penetrate the heart of some one deeply and give them the courage to surrender to God’s will. That is so awesome, wouldn’t you agree?
I support the church and the work of Godly people from all over because I know it can provide great joy in the hearts of people you don’t even know. I have come to understand that my tithing will remind me that you are the source of all of my blessings. I know in my heart that the tithes I put in the offering plate every week will go to support those who are less fortunate than I. Hallelujah! I give you all honor, glory, and praise for your faithful provision in my life.
Luke 6:38- Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
All I can say about this scripture is that it is awesome for real. I can not for the life of me figure out why more people don’t give freely, cheerfully, and from their heart. It is exactly what it says it is. When it comes to monetary things many people allow their flesh to stand in the way, this proves that their faith is little and you trust is lacking.
I pray that God continues to bestow his blessings upon all of you like you have never experienced. God bless you all.
