Many of you do not know my mother, she is an older woman of course and she recently moved in with me and Liz. She didn’t have the Lord in her life and since she has been here I have seen her seek his face. It has been a truly beautiful experience my friends.
She has been attending SPIRIT Ministry group every wednesday. Almost every day this week when I come home from work her Bible is laying out in the open. That is awesome friends. Anyway, Wednesday night after group she had some questions and the Lord provided me with the wisdom to answer those questions. Just to give you an idea, my mom thought that Jesus, the HOLY SPIRIT, and God: the triune being was all seperate. I prayed right then and there. He answered quickly.
He said Michael, turn to John 1:1-In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. I am so elated at this moment in time, and for those of you who know my mom understand. This has been a wonderful day. When I came home from work today I laid down on the couch because I was kinda tired. Out of no where my mom asked me if I would take her to Wal-Mart tonight. I said why, and she said so she could look at something.
I left it at that for a few minutes, then I said what do you want to look at? She said a Bible. My heart immediatlely rejoiced, I said thank you Lord. I took a quick shower and we went to Wal-Mart. Then I took her out for supper and had wonderful conversation. I am so greatful right now, I can’t even put into words how I feel. God is good. Then she asked me if I would take her to church with me Sunday. She just keeps me on my toes. I wonder how many more surprises she has in store.
The Lord just put it on my heart to share this story with you, may it bring hope and inspiration to your heart. Another prayer of mine has come true. Hallelujah! Just like I told my mother one day, as Jesus said, John 3:3-Jesus replied, “I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God.”
May the Lord continue to bless you beyond your understanding. Have a wonderful weekend and stay strong in faith. God bless you all.
