We all live in a community where the economy is really pushing people to do things they really don’t want to do. The prices of gas, job availability, mortgage payments, just everything is outlandish today. This is a time when we must pull together and help one another. I encourage you not to allow your pride to stand in your way. Proverbs 11:2-Pride leads to disgrace, while humility brings wisdom. When you humble yourself and just allow the Lord to do his work you will be blessed. So during these hardships, times of trials and tribulations let’s work together, and look out for one another.
God commands us to live in love. To love thy neighbor as yourself. Let’s face it, we have a much greater chance to overcome any sort of adversity when we work together as a team. 1 Corinthians 13:13-There are three things that will endure; faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. Love endures all things if we allow it. It is our choice for God gave us free will, he will not force his will upon us. I know by experience that if we adhere to his love we will be blessed beyond our wildest imagination.
I encourage you all to get involved in the love God has to offer. There might be some elderly couple out there today that needs help being moved because the bank raised their mortgage payment and they can’t afford to hire movers. Someone may need a ride to the grocery store, someone may just need a word of encouragement, and so on. This morning I am going to Ottawa to help some people move and I don’t even know who they are, the Lord called upon me so I will remain obedient and faithful. I know he will bless us all if we just surrender to his will. And that is a beautiful thing my friends. May the Lord continue to bless you all beyond your dreams. Good day.
Volunteer work is the best work, it’s from the heart.
